Apply Your Loose Mineral Foundation in 2 Easy Steps

APPLY YOUR LOOSE MINERAL FOUNDATION

STEP ONE: Use the a dense powder brush. A densely bristled brush picks up the loose powder and applies it to your face better (and also minimzes fall out - yay).
STEP TWO: Buff foundation in using circular motions. A little goes a long way, use your brush to pick up some loose mineral powder foundation. Then, apply it to your face using circular motions to buff it into the skin.
STEP THREE: None! You're already done. Give your foundation 5 minutes to settle then check in the mirror for your Flawless Poreless Look.

DOES THIS HAPPEN TO YOU?

Is your foundation cakey? You used too much powder. Ellana Mineral Cosmetics is so pure that a little really goes a long way. So start with less product, and build up if you need more overall coverage.

Trying to cover dark or red spots? Use a small brush, dip it into some loose mineral foundation/concealer powder and apply directly on the spot you need to cover. Let it sit for a few minutes then use your foundation brush to buff it out.
Does your face look dry? Our mineral foundations are pure pigment and include oil control ingredients resulting in a long-wearing ultra matte look. If you prefer dewy look... here's some things you can give a try.
  • Mix your loose mineral foundation with your moisturizer or primer and then apply to your face to get sheer coverage with a healthy glow.
  • Add a bit of the Halo, Dream or Inspiration loose multipurpose pigment with your foundation. Halo is a shimmery powder great for highlighting. Combine a little to your foundation powder adds a light touch of shimmer for a radiant look.
  • When you're done with your look, lock it in with the Stay Fresh Setting Spray. Not only will it keep your look fresh all day, it will give you that dewy feeling. Refresh your look as needed.
