This week has been pretty intense, to say the least. I'm checking in to make sure you're doing okay.
As you already know, the Taal volcano has been spewing ash across Southern Tagalog; thousands of people have evacuated, beloved animals need rescuing, and everyone is holding their breath waiting to find out if the coming days hold hope or more worry.
It's heartwarming to find entire communities standing up for their fellows and working tirelessly to help the displaced. Everyone's pulling together to get through this catastrophe; we're thinking about each other, moving to help one another, praying for everyone - that's the way to world peace!
We've compiled a list of necessities as well as drop-off locations for donations, so those of us who don't live in calamity-stricken areas and have more to spare can share what we have with those who were affected.
